Black and white is an attitude! Exclusively for Europe ́s leading fashion destination Zalando, designer Patrick Mohr has reinterpreted Reebok Classic’s Ventilator model from the 90s and created three exciting unisex trainers. Patrick Mohr ́s look can be described as sophisticated urban streetwear combined with a subtle sportiness and a hint of avant-garde. With his Reebok Ventilator designs for Zalando, Mohr has made it clear that his mix of streetwear and the avant-garde is something completely unique. The designs play with extremes of black and white but in the end find their own balance. “The first model has more white than black, whilst for the second model it is the other way around. The third model has more of a balance, with 50% black and 50% white. All three shoes tell a story, as even though they live between the two worlds of black and white, the three shoe models interact with one another, in the end resulting in a balance between these extremes” explains Mohr. High-quality leather and symbolic details such as Mohr’s trademark triangle lend the trainers a certain something. The triangle can be found on all three models; on the tongue of the shoe, the heel or on the detailing of the laces. Another highlight is the quilted shaft of the shoe, with Mohr taking inspiration for this distinctive feature from biker jackets.Conceived in the early 90’s, the Reebok Ventilator was originally designed to help runners excel while staying cool on long-distance runs. Today, the Ventilator remains a fashion-forward running shoe. Thanks to their extremely versatile silhouette, the trainers can be worn with a number of different outfits. This is why Patrick Mohr gave the shoes his own touch and decided to tell a story of black and white: “Like the Ventilator, the combination of black and white is a classic: You can wear it with anything, whenever you want. At the same time I find the play between black and white really exciting. I myself think in black and white – there are no grey areas, there are only extremes. So, for me, black and white symbolize a play between two worlds.”

Stüssy’s Fall 2015 campaign sees Tyrone Lebon explore Tokyo, Japan, as the latest part in his multi-year photo series of Stüssy’s world tour cities. The third instalment includes a series of portraits, styled by Tom Guinness, rediscovering Stüssy’s roots, it’s relationship with Japan, and their cultural interpretation of the brand’s loose living philosophy. Highlighting the unique richness and diversity of Tokyo, Lebon and Guinness capture iconic elements of Japanese culture taking 20th century youth culture and pairing it with traditional Japanese references: Geishas, Harajuku and Tokyo’s nightlife feature as themes for Lebon’s journey through the east. Special features of the campaign include a one-of-a-kind Stüssy headpiece designed by hairstylist KAMO, and portraits including Frank Lebon and KaoRi. The full campaign of the Stüssy’s fall collection is available on stussy.com and all Chapter Stores.

Since its introduction into Tennis, FILA has pushed the boundaries in tennis and fashion. The T-1 Mid silhouette has since become a staple in the heritage footwear category, decades after its first appearance on court. To put the exclamation point on the month of August, FILA has teamed with one of the most talked about jewelers in the game, Mr. Flawless on the T-1 Mid. Nestled in the heart of New York City’s Diamond District, Mr. Flawless, born Greg Yuna, has developed some of the highest profiled clientele. The craftsmanship he puts into his work and brand place him in an elite category, making this collaboration a no brainer, especially with the T-1 Mid model. This T-1 Mid release is superb, as the two shoe pack appears in two iterations of black and white premium leather. Both colorways are dressed with a rich-golden flag and white midsole, sitting atop a gum outsole. Dual branding appears on the tongue with Flawless’ signature “Mr.” logo appearing above the FILA linear logo on one shoe and the Flawless linear logo below the F-Box on the opposite. Other product details include the Italian flag stitching on the tongue, custom sublimation foot-bed, and gold lace tips. The custom packaging is incredible, with all-over gold “Mr.” detailing on the interior and “Flawless” in FILA type-font on the exterior.
