With inspiration from Japanese culture mixed with adidas core creative they’re set to deliver a sleek, elegant and culture foreword collection sure to stand out. Dark tones, aerodynamic silhouettes and floral designs make for a very unique set of gear.
Inspired by the colors of the Italian national football team, the Made in Italy “Azzurri” N.9000 ($200 USD) is constructed using a micro-perforated kangaroo leather upper with pigskin suede overlays set on top of a white midsole with Italia green and red accent hits laid on top of a gum rubber outsole. Additional features include debossed “Diadora” and “Packer” branding on the tongue and heel as well as Italian flag inspired insoles.
adidas Consortium‘s onslaught of Superstar collaborations continues, with a collaboration with Los Angeles streetwear institution Undefeated celebrating the duo’s 10-year relationship. An icon of hip hop style, the sneaker has been replicated in a crisp all-white colorway with reptile-embossed detailing, gold foil adidas branding and Undefeated’s “Five Strike” emblem subtly embossed upon the heel. The sneaker drops January 30 at Undefeated’s webstore and retail locations.
In a revision of the Tubular Runner model, adidas Originals has created a new edition of the mid-cut silhouette – the Tubular MocRunner. Brand new for spring, the shoe debuts in a trio of muted palettes for the 2015 Tonal Pack. The Tubular Moc Runner features a premium suede construction in Black, Stonewash and Light Timber colorways.

The fourth instalment of this on-going collaborative effort, Hong Kong-based creative powerhouse CLOT have again teamed up with heralded Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi to produce the adidas x KZK x CLOT Superstar 80s 84-Lab Superstar 80s. Taking design cues from the military, the Superstar 80s has been reimagined with synthetic nylon uppers which features and overlay print camouflage running throughout. Keen to keep the integrity of the original design, Kuraishi has left OG where they should be, instead allowing details such as the black three stripes to the side panel, trefoil branded heel tab and the iconic white rubber toebox to shine alongside the busy uppers.
Jordan Brand has created special a pair of Seattle Seahawks colorway Air Jordan 7 Cleats for Earl Thomas to wear in the Super Bowl. The KYRIE 1 for kids was designed to deliver enhanced flexibility, quickness and durability. These pint sized kicks include many of the features of the adult version, but customized to specifically meet the unique demands of young athletes. Vault by Vans‘ designer Taka Hayashi is back for his first release of 2015, inspired by the vintage court shoe form and infused with iconic Vans styling cues. The TH Court Lo LX returns with new two new premium leather colorways for spring 2015 hued in Black and Marshmallow. Hayashi’s deconstructed low-top is updated with a split tongue and trisected quarter panels, creating unique color blocking arrangements across each style. Finishing touches include tonal laces, embossed herringbone toe bumpers, diamond patterned sidewalls and Taka Hayashi signature branding embellishments. The Vault by Vans x Taka Hayashi TH Court Lo LX retails for $125 USD and arrives at select boutique accounts this February.
