The Tennis Hu Made for All Humans
The new Tennis Hu model takes the Pharrell x Adidas brands to new heights. Pharrell wants the Hu shoes to bring Humans together and celebrate all cultures.
Last year we got to see the Hu take form in a way similar to the NMD. This time around, the Tennis Hu is a silhouette like no other. This shoe marks Pharrell’s first ever signature model.
As a matter of fact, the Tennis Hu models are designed to pay homage to previous Adidas iconic tennis shoes. The pair with yellow lacing, a yellow sole, and golden heel tab pays tribute to the 1970’s Forest Hill model. Additionally, the white pair with green detailing hopes to honor the ever so popular Stan Smith.
Like any Adidas Original, the Tennis Hu maintains a comfortable fit. The white upper is made in a breathable and flexible Primeknit. Of course, a great shoe needs a great EVA midsole. The lacing system is sleek with it built into the shoe’s body.
