3D Runner by Adidas
December 13th, 2016 – Today, Adidas opened its’ reservations on Adidas Confirmed in New York for the 3D Runner. The limited edition release is available for $333 you can pick them up at the new flagship store in NYC.
The Runner was engineered with a black Primeknit upper to ensure maximum fit and performance. The shoes have a 3D printed heel counter which is combined with the midsole. This means no gluing or stitching. The web structure allows for optimum level of performance.
A Senior Director from Adidas, explained how the next step is creating a customized shoe based from only a footprint. The running style, foot shape, and performance is also an upcoming possibility.
The Runner was gifted to three top female athletes: Jessica Ennis-Hill from Great Britian, Allision Schmitt from USA,and Mariana Pajon from Colombia.
On December 15th, a limited number of shoes will be released in London and Tokyo. The newest 3D shoe is available in NYC.
