5 PE Colorways We’d Like to See From Teams Kyrie Irving Could Be Traded To
My heart is drained as I write this article. On one hand I know the boy Kyrie wants to be a star. Which he is. But he wants to be “the star”. And so long as LeBron James shares the same jersey as him, this will probably never happen. However, lets say Kyrie Irving and his agent Jeff Wechsler do successfully get him traded. What Player Edition colorways would we like to see him in from the great collection of NBA color codes? Most of what you’ll see from this list are Nike affiliated (Jordan Brand) selections because lets face it, they’ve got the best PE’s. So lets dive into it.
- New York Knicks
The orange and blue colorways that the New York Knicks dawn always comes out well on a player edition sneaker and any Nike basketball sneaker.
- Miami Heat
Amongst the many teams in the NBA that sport red within their jersey colorways, the Miami Heat along with the Chicago Bulls tend to give players the best sneaker heat. If the Kyrie 2 “Inferno” is any indication of what Nike can cook up with those colors, I can only imagine what they could provide Kyrie on a nightly basis playing in Wade County.
- Denver Nuggets
Sky blue! Yes, give me 2 pairs please. Just look to the University of North Carolina and their basketball players’ feet for any indication of shoe colorway greatness. You can’t go wrong with sky blue and white. Mash that up against Nike’s shoe designing for Kyrie Irving and you give yourself a great combination of shoes to hoop in.
- Orlando Magic
Now I’m not to sure what assets Cleveland could acquire if they were to send Kyrie to Orlando but I do know that Nike could sell a lot of blue and black forms of Kyrie Irving’s.
5. Los Angeles Lakers
Come on dog, you knew this was coming. Give me Lonzo Ball and y’all can have Kyrie! Peace.
