Adidas x Raf Simons Stan Smith Pack
Adidas teamed up with the Belgian designer, Raf Simons to create the Adidas x Raf Simons Stan Smith Pack. The FW16-17 collection takes inspiration from the Stan Smith ($400) and Stan Smith Comfort ($415).
Stan Smith Comfort is covered in a black leather hue with a white accent on the counter heel. Different from its predecessor, instead of laces the Comfort comes with three white Velcro straps. The new silo has been thoroughly co-branded. On the white accent counter, the Adidas logo is seen in black with ‘Stan Smith’ underneath it. Raf Simmons is engraved on the lateral sides of the pair while the Adidas name and logo are on the midsole. The original Adidas three stripes on the side are replaced with a perforated ‘R’.
The classic Stan Smith is draped in a bright red leather with black accents on the counter heel. The Stan Smith has the usual lace system with bright red laces to match the leather. The same perforated ‘R’ branding and co-branding on the heel. The insole is also branded and the sole is a smooth bright red hexagon print with Adidas branding.
