The Nike Komyuter is a shoe that screams comfort. While the inspiration for the shoe came from a brown paper bag, the design is far from brown and boring.
A brown paper bag opens up easily to a brand new shape similar to the Komyuter. The upper transforms from its loose, open state into a sleek, fast silhouette that blends seamlessly to a full rubber bottom with wet traction lugs. Safety features include the reflective hits on the logo and welding seems.
Ultimately, the Nike Komyuter design came to be one with a four-way strectch water-resistant upper shell that conforms to the foot through an integrated draw cord. Additionally, a forefoot strap with a Fidlock magnetic buckle stabilizes the foot.
Of course, the Komyuter is versatile. It was made to withstand wear all day in any environment. Run out of the rain or run towards the hills in these sneakers.
