Converse x Nigel Cabourn
Converse, one of America’s most iconic footwear companies teams up with partner, Nigel Cabourn. As a result of this collaboration a new version of the ’70 silhouette was made. Converse x Nigel Cabourn collab will launch Friday, October 28th.
The Chuck will be released in two colorways: olive green and navy. The uppers are made of Ventile ® and Harris Tweed fabric which tie up the UK and USA connection. The lining displays a bright orange hue. However, what really sets it aside is the “fireman” buckle closure signifying Cabourn’s “cameraman jacket”.
Cabourn in an interview explained how excited he was due to the collaboration with Converse. This limited edition collection celebrates craftsmanship at the highest level. Converse x Nigel Cabourn release the ’70 silhouette on October 28th at Converse.com and also in Converse retail stores.
