Doernbecher Freestyle Collection
Nike chose Elite Mr Alan’s to sell their prized Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Elite will be hosting a raffle for all six sneakers and apparel designs.
The Michigan-based company explained how it was an honor to be chosen by Nike. They are thrilled to be contributing to the happiness of the sick children. When consumers pick up their sneakers they will be able to meet one of the peds patient designer.
The Doernbecher Freestyle collection consists of 6 footwear and apparel designs. The two locations that are going to be participating in the raffle: Detroit and southern Florida locations. Shoe Palace and Villa were chosen to sell the Freestyle collection as well.
This is the 13th year anniversary for the Nike sponsored event. $14 million have been raised for the hospital through this program. The Doernbecher Children’s Hospital located in Oregon will receive 100% of the proceeds.
Doernbecher Freestyle Collection Designers
The creative designers are:
Braylin Soon who has autoimmune hepatitis and had a liver transplant. Braylin is 10 years old. Chehayla Hyatt, is also 10 and has cystic fibrosis. Damien Phillips has a severe case of hemophilia A, and is only 10. Andy Grass, 11, a trauma patient still recovering from multiple injuries. Corwin Carr is 12 years old and has VATER syndrome and Prune Belly. The oldest out of the designers is Chase Swearingen of 14 years old. Chase suffers from epilepsy and hydrocephalus.
The Doernbecher collection will be available through raffle at Elite Mr Alan’s.
