FILA and Shoe City Will Release Second Edition Puzzle Piece
Autism Awareness is represented once again with the second edition Puzzle Piece, a collab by FILA x Shoe City. Last year we saw the first edition of the Puzzle Piece with the Cage. According to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), one out of every eighty-eight children is diagnosed with Autism in the United States. Fila and Shoe City are aiding in raising awareness, funding research and creating a brighter future for those with autism spectrum disorders
Almost a year later FILA and Shoe City will release the second edition of the Puzzle Piece. This Fila F-13 silhouette consist of a mostly white tumbled leather upper. Of course, the suede FILA flag is in the Autism Speaks signature “Light It Up Blue” color. Also in the blue are the suede overlays along the eye-row and strap. Meanwhile, similar to the first edition, the sock liner, back tongue, and footbed are a multi-colored puzzle piece print. Accordingly, the same print is on the shoelaces, tying up the whole concept. The beautiful coloring and puzzle print are symbolic of the Autism Awareness.
For every purchase made, Shoe City will donate $10 to Autism Speaks. The size pricing is $79.99 for Mens, $64.99 for Grade School, and $59.99 for Pre-School. The collaboration shoe drops Thursday, April 20th. Find them at on YCMC.com and in select Shoe City stores.
