FNAA 2016 Rihanna Wins Shoe of the Year
Rihanna just won the Shoe of the Year FNAA 2016. Footwear News covered the event and was able to capture some words from her acceptance speech.
Rihanna was honored to be the first women to win the FN Achievement Award. Riri said how winning makes her proud to be a woman and especially a woman from Barbados. She gave a shoutout to her fans telling them how much she appreciates them. She also said that “all the kids in the street” inspire her.
The artist and designer captured attention while walking on the red carpet. Rihanna was styled in her signature Gothic aesthetic while wearing Black colorway Creeper’s.
“It means so much to me to make a mark like this in the shoe and sneaker industry and to have so many people share my love for the Creeper.”
