Nike Force Savage Elite Cleat are Made for a Beast
This new Nike Force Savage Elite cleat is sure to add power to the already strong players. This cleat was designed specifically for football linemen. Lead Footwear designer, Erin Cochrane, says linemen are, “super physical and aggressive but they’re also explosive and incredibly versatile.” Cochrane made this cleat to be strong and protective enough to keep up with the players.
Of course, every inch of the shoe’s design matters and the attention to detail makes this shoe great. The Nike Force Savage Elite has 15 twisting triangular studs that line the outsole. These studs provide the best 360- degree traction on the field.
No doubt, offensive linemen get their feet stomped trying to protect the quarterback thus this cleat was made. The material Kurin shaped in a triangular form acts as a protective armor. The Kurin sits on top of a molded foam package on the forefoot to protect against painful stabs.
The Nike team implemented a wrestling boot on a football plate in order to add ankle support for the wearer. Of course, mobility is important so the support of the laced cables are made to be motion specific. The design was also inspired by the linemen’s love for fun. The Nike team purposefully made this shoe trendy instead of the traditional blocky style.
The Nike Force Savage Elite is the latest cleat in the Nike Force class, one of Nike Football’s three dedicated silos (Nike Alpha, Nike Vapor and Nike Force) that are based on style of play. It is available online and at select retailers.
