Recaping the Street League Skateboarding Barcelona Tour Stop
“Whatever you do, just don’t fall.”
Said T.I. in one of my favorite movies ever, ATL. This rings true for 8 of the world’s best skateboarders Nike could find. Each of the 8 competed yesterday in the glorious city of Barcelona, Spain right in the Skate Adora BDN plaza. If you’re looking at a bird’s eye view of the location, you can see the plaza is right near the ocean, making it one of the most premiere places to skate period.
As the competition came to an end, Nyjah Huston ended up with the most style points to bag the SLS win (he’s won the past 3 SLS titles). Creating 2nd and 3rd place positions for Shane O’Neill and Yuto Horigome respectively. The tour continues onward into Europe as they hit Munich, Germany next. And then it’s back to America as they round out the competitions in Chicago for August 13th and Los Angeles ending the SLS for good on September 15th.
