Sneaker Summit to Partner with George Kiel and GUS Leagues for Huge Shoe Drive to Provide Hurricane Harvey Relief
Due to the large scale level of flooding from Hurricane Harvey that hit our city last week, many Houstonians have had to abandon their homes. Leaving behind furniture, family photos, and even the clothes they wear on their backs. Creating an empty feeling for citizens heading into shelters and other relief efforts around the city. Naturally, as Sneaker Summit, we pride ourselves on being a staple within the Houston community. So we must lend the best helping hand we can for our city!
In order to do this, wwe’ve partnered with Kiel Colon Cancer and GUS Leagues to create the biggest shoe drive event ever for Hurrican Harvey relief. We all are focused on making sure anybody who is in need of a pair of shoes gets them. All we ask are for those that are able to donate new or gently used shoes anytime between September 1st and September 23rd do so at our Sneaker Summit Storefront location here.
The Shou Drive event will take place on September 30th at the HTX Sports Creek. If you don’t live in Houston and would like to donate sneakers, you can mail them to the addresses provided at shoudrive.org.
