UNC Basketball Debuts Just Don x Jordan Brand Shorts for Late Night With Roy

Before the kick-off of every basketball season at the University of North Carolina, there is a celebration of the new season. A time for fans to get a first look at the new team and enjoy the festivities that they provide through funny sketches, reenacting classic plays from past seasons, and even a team scrimmage.The University calls it, “Late Night With Roy”, dubbed after there Hall of Fame basketball coach Roy Williams. With all of that going on, players are usually draped in practice gear. Not this time around.

It seems to be every year now that UNC debuts a new product from alumnus Michael Jordan’s Jordan Brand. Similar to how the University of Oregon’s football team gets new jerseys every game thanks to Phil Knight.

Last night, the team stormed out in the Just Don x Jordan Brand “UNC” home shorts from Don C’s collegiate collection. That’s not even it though, they also were the first to debut the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Navy” that is set to release later on in November. Talk about the term “team early”.
