This summer Nike celetbrates international basketball culture with the HyperFam colletection. Six Hyperdunk shoes, representing basketball’s capital cities, are included. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Manila, Beijing and Madrid all have distinct impacts on the game.

If you are going to play ball in New York, be ready to ride through the city and hit every court. The Nike Hyperdunk Low 20 has a unique blueprint city map drawn in basketball-inspired line.  This NYC shoe releases early August.

The Nike Hyperdunk Low 2017 Chicago honors Saieed Ivey and his life that was drasticly cut short after moving to California to play for the East Los Angeles College basketball team. Ivey’s modo “Failure is not an option” has been adopted citywide in hopes of getting youth to embrace oppurtunities like basketball. The shoe will launch August 2nd.

The Nike Hyperdunk Low 2017 LA is a constant reminder that the love of basketball brings people together. People from L.A. to Orange County and Inland Empire raise the bar when they hit the court at King Drew Magnet High School. This shoe launches August 3rd.

The Manila, Philippines Tenement Court Taguig standsout as one of the worlds most striking courts. The court is surrounded with cement infrastructure where people gather to watch the players in the heart of the city’s basketball scene. The 2017 Manila releases in August.

Although Beijing basketball community is not fortunate enough to have an array of courts players gather in places like Dongdan to show off their skills.
