A Recap of the Houston Hype Insta Meet With Ariel Chapas

First, tell the people who you are.

I’m Ariel Chapas, videographer and photographer for the Sneaker Summit. I do product and lifestyle pictures for the company. I also do videos like recaps of pop ups, events, and shoe review videos.

What was the point of the Houston Hype Insta Meet and what did you get out of it?

The point of the event is to gather all types of photographers. To learn form each other and network. Meet new people and practice our skill.

How did you originally hear about the Houston Hype Insta Meet?

I heard about it on Instagram but my manager Tausha Sanders told me about it first.

Did you get a lot of good networking done with other photographers?

Definitely, I met a lot of photographers. I introduced myself and asked about their work. Even photographers reached out to me. I’ve been doing a lot of networking with models. I took a lot pictures of the models and the crowd.

Now that it’s over, what do you think is next for you as an upcoming kid with a camera?

Well, to try to put my work out there. Never stop networking. Meet more models and perfect my craft.
